Blue and white. These two colors just get me. And I always seem to be wearing/living in one or both of the two. Summertime is the time for shoulder baring tops and white denim, which is why this blue & white combo is one of my favorite easy (yet polished) looks for this sizzling season.
Despite the bad weather, it was SUCH a great weekend. Friday I shopped around in the rain at Market Street, and stumbled into Johnny Was (which I had never been in before), and while the day couldn’t have been more dreary, I don’t think I’ve ever been in a brighter, happier store. SO much color. SO cheerful. Couldn’t have picked a better spot to pop into!
There is nothing that beats an all black outfit in my book, but I must admit that sometimes a little accessorizing is needed, depending on the occasion of course. And I get it, when your style is a little more muted in color and minimal in accessories, accessorizing an all black outfit can get a little stressful. But as I have learned, not impossible.
We love summer and we LOVE Kate Spade! These are just a few of our fave new arrivals – perfect for fun in the sun or a weekend getaway!
Next time you’re at Market Street be sure to swing by Kate Spade to check these out for yourself!
Hi friends. I hope you’re hungry because I had lunch at Grotto this week and it was you was “delizioso“. I need to give you the dish on our dishes. (See what I did there?)
My colleague and I (Alyssa! We work at Mad Meg Creative!) started out with the antipasta app but it wasn’t just your standard, run of the mill, boring antipasta app. It was an amazing spread of vegetables, cheeses, meatballs, and we got to choose 4 things, 8 things, or 12 things to bring back to our table.
I don’t know about y’all but It feels to me like life gets busier and busier as the days go by. It is so easy to lose track of time, and with that, lose precious quality time with our family. Erick & I have made it a point to have a date (or family date) at least once a week. It is so important for us to have that bonding time with the boys and each other, and forget about life’s demands for at least a few hours.
While Francesca’s has a lot of cute clothes, I’m even a bigger fan of their gift and home collection. They have tons of cute stuff that you don’t necessarily need but definitely want. All of the above items I picked up during my last trip to the store for various Mother’s Day gifts.
